CCTA is one of the premier annual conferences sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society, and focuses on the advancement on control technology and control applications. Application areas of interest include, but are not limited to: automotive systems, aerospace systems, marine systems, biotechnology, manufacturing, mechatronics, robotics, automation, energy and power systems, environment, network, cyber-physical systems, and machine learning based control. The conference will have plenary speeches, regular and poster presentations, tutorial, invited sessions, and industry exhibits.

You are cordially invited to submit your papers describing latest research achievements.

  • Contributed papers: The papers are in the standard 2-column IEEE Proceedings format. Initial submission should be up to 8 pages. Accepted papers are limited to 6 pages; papers exceeding this limit are subject to a page over-length fee.
  • Invited sessions: Invited sessions consist of 5-6 papers presenting a unified theme from diverse viewpoints. Proposals in the standard 2-column IEEE Proceedings format must describe the motivation and relevance of the sessions, and contain titles, authors, and abstracts of the papers. Individual papers may be removed from a proposed session and replaced by appropriate contributed papers. In case an entire proposed session is rejected, selected papers may be accepted as contributed papers.
  • Tutorial sessions: Tutorial sessions addressing state-of-the-art control theory and advanced industrial applications are solicited. They are structured around a main tutorial paper (up to 18 pages) and a talk (60 min) to offer a general overview of the topic to participants, followed by three presentations (with or without accompanying papers of up to six pages each) to provide a picture of the state of the art. Proposals for tutorial sessions must be submitted in the same format and contents as invited session proposals described above, and the review of the proposed sessions will be handled in the same manner as those for invited sessions.
  • Workshops: Workshops to be held prior to the conference are solicited on all relevant topics.

Papers that have been published, or appeared in early access, in the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology after January 1, 2025 may apply to give oral presentations, unless a conference version of the same paper has been presented elsewhere.
